Intel Research Scholar

Two Intel Research Scholars positions available under Intel Corp:

2 Research Scholars are required to work on projects funded by Intel Corp.

Start: July/Aug/Sept. 2009

Period: maximum up to 12 months

Stipend: RM2100 (Malaysian only)

Location: Faculty of Information Technology, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya

Requirements for the 2 positions are:

Position 1:

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with honours, preferably 2nd class upper or above

• Good computer programming skill or proficient in the C programming language (or it's derivatives such as C++ and Java).

• Good understanding of Networking (LAN, WAN), optimization, artificial intelligence and probability and statistics.

• Knowledge of socket programming would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of network simulator would also help.

• Good understanding of Digital circuits, Boolean functions, algorithms(especially graph algorithm) and complexity.

• Self-motivated, possess good communication skills and able to work under pressure

• Knowledge of Mathematica 7 software package would also help.
