Applications are invited for the Taufik Ali Memorial Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies tenable in the academic year 2009/2010.

Applicants must:

be of Muslim faith born in Malaysia or in Hong Kong;
be registered for a full-time postgraduate curriculum in 2009/2010 leading to a degree, diploma or certificate at The University of Hong Kong; and
hold a Bachelor's Degree with honours (preferably, First or Upper Second Class Honours) from an approved University

CONDITIONS OF AWARD

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

VALUE

Tuition fees and a monthly living allowance to be determined by the Selection Committee. One return airfare at the most economical rate from home country to Hong Kong may be granted for the whole period of study at The University of Hong Kong.

TENURE

The scholarships are renewable for a second year, subject to excellent academic progress.
