Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for the 2011/2012 academic year. The scheme is aimed at bringing top students from around the world to Hong Kong to undertake PhD studies in a wide range of fields.

Applicants should be those seeking admission as new full-time PhD students in one of 8 Hong Kong institutions, namely:

• City University of Hong Kong
• Hong Kong Baptist University
• Lingnan University
• The Chinese University of Hong Kong
• The Hong Kong Institute of Education
• The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
• The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
• The University of Hong Kong

Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approx. US$2,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approx. US$1,300) per year for a period of 3 years.
